About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Kingsview Renovation, Flooring & Staircase Inc. as a Custom Furniture Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, reinforcing joints as needed.
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, preparing and applying laminated plastics.
  • Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products, meeting customer expectations.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in cabinetmaking and millwork.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • English language proficiency.
