We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at MISSISSAUGA QUALITY KITCHENS. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinets and furniture pieces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, and trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints.
  • Finishing and Assembly: Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare and apply laminated plastics.
  • Repair and Restoration: Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Custom cabinet shop.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, and a team player.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
Working Conditions

40 hours per week, permanent position, working in a custom cabinet shop environment.
