Position Overview

The Bruce Hotel is seeking a dedicated Executive Housekeeper to oversee our housekeeping department. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Direct and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and teams.
  • Quality Control: Conduct inspections of designated areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and guide housekeeping personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and departmental policies.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
  • Laundry Coordination: Oversee in-house laundry services and manage dry cleaning and valet operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to local health and sanitation regulations.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with tight deadlines. Candidates should possess a keen attention to detail and be comfortable with a mix of sitting, standing, and walking, including standing for extended periods.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role.
