Job Summary

The Bruce Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff and ensuring that our hotel's high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the hotel's standards.
    • Provide guidance and training to housekeeping staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet the hotel's standards of cleanliness and quality.
    • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to housekeeping operations.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment to ensure that they are adequate and well-maintained.
    • Coordinate the ordering and delivery of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with other departments, including front office, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure that housekeeping operations are coordinated and efficient.
    • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues or concerns related to housekeeping operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality management role
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
