About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Quality Inn & Conference Centre Festival. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Standards: Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for housekeeping supplies and services.
  • Coordinate Additional Services: Arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, and renovations as required.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records for the housekeeping department.
  • Receive Payments: Process payments for specialized cleaning jobs and other housekeeping services.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to housekeeping staff as needed.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and manage work schedules for the housekeeping team.
Requirements
  • Supervision: 3-4 people
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
