Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Glazier Helper to join our team at Norfinch Glass & Mirror mfg Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting glaziers with various tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the work site.
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accurate execution.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and machinery.
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass with precision and accuracy.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and colleagues.
Work Environment

As a Glazier Helper, you will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with confined spaces and noisy conditions. You must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and possess manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
