Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Assistant to join our team at Norfinch Glass & Mirror mfg Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, as well as reading blueprints to determine work requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures
Work Environment

As a Glass Installation Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with confined spaces and noisy conditions. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work in a team environment
