Family Law Legal Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Family Law Legal Assistant to join our team at Linds & Associates. As a Family Law Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lawyers and clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Correspond with clients, opposing counsel, process servers, and court staff to ensure timely and effective communication.
  • Draft and prepare court documents, including pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Organize and maintain files, both physical and digital, to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Complete dictation and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • A university degree and/or a law clerk, legal assistant, or paralegal diploma/certificate.
  • A minimum of 1 year of family law experience working in a law firm.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong technical and organizational skills.
  • An ability to multi-task and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
