We are currently seeking a dynamic Training and Development Expert to join our Implementation team in a Full-Time Remote role within Canada.

Job Description:
A Training and Development Expert will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs for PSD Citywide clients, ensuring they possess a thorough understanding of our software products. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of software applications, and the ability to facilitate engaging and effective training sessions.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop and deliver customized training programs for end-users, administrators, and other stakeholders on our software products.
- Design and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources, to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Conduct internal training programs for employees on the effective use of our software products.
- Collaborate with the product development team to stay current on software updates and new features, incorporating this information into training programs.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements and customize programs accordingly.
- Provide one-on-one or group training sessions, either in person or through virtual platforms, to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions through participant feedback and assessment results, making adjustments as needed.
- Ensure that client-facing user guides and internal training materials are up-to-date.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and training best practices to continuously improve training programs.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer support teams to address customer training needs and contribute to customer success.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years experience as a Software Trainer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of general software functions and capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and understandably.
- Experience with instructional design and adult learning methods.
- Familiarity with various training methods and techniques, both in-person and virtual.
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and effectively engage diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Certification in training or instructional design is considered an asset.
- Experience with e-learning platforms and tools.
- Familiarity with modern training tools including video editors, AI-generated training videos, Learning Management Systems, and Knowledge Base Management Systems like Talent LMS and Happy Fox.

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
