As a dynamic Training Specialist, you will join our Implementation team in Canada as a Full-Time Remote role. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to PSD Citywide clients, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our software products.

Job Description

As an Instructional Designer - Software Training, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering training programs for end-users, administrators, and other stakeholders on our software products.
  • Designing and updating training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources, to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Conducting comprehensive internal training programs for employees on the effective use of our software products.
  • Collaborating with the product development team to stay current on software updates and new features, incorporating this information into training programs.
  • Conducting needs assessments to identify training requirements and customize programs accordingly.
  • Providing one-on-one or group training sessions, either in person or through virtual platforms, to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training sessions through participant feedback and assessment results, making adjustments as needed.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and training best practices to continuously improve training programs.
Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Software Trainer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the general function of software applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Experience with instructional design and adult learning methods.
  • Familiarity with different training methods and techniques, both in-person and virtual.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and effectively engage diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
