We seek a skilled professional to join our team as a Manufacturing Learning and Development Expert. This role is critical in partnering with manufacturing and functional experts to co-create, manage, and maintain comprehensive knowledge documentation and learning programs.

About the Role:

  • Develop and edit technical knowledge documentation and design, including SOPs and troubleshooting guides.
  • Lead working group sessions in designing curricula framework and identifying learning needs.
  • Design and develop learning programs and assets to upskill employees in the potato manufacturing process.
  • Capture and codify institutional knowledge for effective learning programs and assets.
  • Provide training and support on documentation and knowledge management systems.
  • Support technical onboarding needs for all levels within the plant.
  • Support business loss elimination strategy initiatives through continuous improvement in learning development and delivery.
  • Provide leadership, tactical support, and coaching.
  • Oversee a global document repository of all learning materials.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to understand needs and risks and assess progress against Key Performance Indicators.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Instructional Design, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in related field.
  • Experience with rapid eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360).
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and practices.
  • Previous experience designing, developing, and delivering training curriculums within an organization undergoing significant transformational change.
  • Previous experience in production or maintenance in manufacturing plants.
  • Subject Matter Expert in potato manufacturing, with a deep understanding of industry processes and standards.
  • Proven experience in technical writing within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to food manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging, leading change through influence, and inspiring partners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to flex style to adapt to various cultures and work styles in a global team environment.
