Job Description

Job Title: IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team at QA Consultants. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing business projects that require IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop detailed project plans, including resources, issue identification, resolution processes, communications, risk management, and status reporting.
  • Manage project change requests and resolve project issues/conflicts and breakdown project barriers (escalate when required).
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead vendor discussions and negotiations for low-risk procurements, ensuring contractual terms and conditions comply with client policies.
  • Create project closure documents and lead project closure meetings.

Requirements:

  • Designation as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, at least 2 years of which delivered IT solutions with a strong focus on projects in infrastructure deployment, application integration, and Enterprise Service Management.
  • Hands-on experience building tools and presentations with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of project management lifecycle and current IT trends.
