Retail Store Supervisor Lead

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Chevron Town Pantry. As a key member of our retail operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our store.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of sales staff, assigning duties, and overseeing daily store operations. You will also be responsible for hiring and training new staff members, authorizing payments and returns, and maintaining accurate records.

- Hire and train new staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively;
- Authorize payments and returns, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions;
- Maintain accurate records, including inventory levels, sales data, and employee performance metrics;
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction, working closely with other department managers to achieve business objectives;
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, using effective communication and problem-solving skills;
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless store operations, including receiving and stocking merchandise, managing cash handling procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment;
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role, preferably in a similar industry;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously;
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software;
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required;
- A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience;
