Matthews International seeks an experienced Packaging Development Project Manager Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire packaging development process, from conception to completion. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Job Description
  • Manage multiple packaging projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and within budget;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, to develop project scope and timelines;
  • Facilitate creative development, monitor production art development, and resolve art file or printing issues;
  • Lead design extensions and adaptations across various structures and substrates for optimal results;
  • Communicate and manage print processes with printers and design agencies;
  • Develop, communicate, and manage project priorities, timelines, and status to internal and external partners;
  • Resolve or assist in resolving issues within and between projects or teams;
  • Follow up to ensure deliverables meet or exceed expectations;
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Graphic Arts, Marketing, Advertising, or related field;
  • 6+ years of previous project management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Occasional travel may be required;
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications;
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts;
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues;
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
