Senior Gerontology Nurse Manager

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Gerontology Nurse Manager to join our team at Wales Home. As a key member of our nursing leadership, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of our healthcare services.
About the Role:- The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a gerontological setting, with a strong background in patient care and management.
- Responsibilities will include coordinating patient care, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and supervising a team of nurses and support staff.
- You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and excellent patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective care plans for patients with complex needs.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
- Certified or registered nurse with a current practicing license.
- Proven experience in gerontological nursing, preferably in a leadership capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies for implementation.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
