Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Associate at Giesecke+Devrient. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels
  • Remove trash and recyclables, and ensure proper disposal
  • Assist with special projects, such as deep cleaning and event setup
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the facilities manager

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and other hazardous materials
  • May be required to work overtime or flexible hours

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and twist to perform cleaning tasks
