Position Overview

The Maintenance Manager at Fakih Hygiene (Unionvillegate) Corporation plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our facilities. This position involves overseeing the maintenance and repair of various systems and equipment within our organization.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years in a similar role.
Work Environment

This role is situated within a health care institution, facility, or clinic, providing a dynamic and challenging work setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and estimate costs associated with the installation and upkeep of equipment and services.
  • Design and execute schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance initiatives.
  • Supervise the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Recruit, train, and manage staff to ensure effective operations.
  • Develop and oversee the operational budget for the facility.
  • Organize and direct administrative services, including cleaning, maintenance, security, and safety inspections.
  • Maintain and organize inventory efficiently.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.

Technical Skills

Proficient in using the internet and various computer technologies.

Safety and Security

A criminal record check is required for this position.

Travel Information

Travel expenses will be covered by the employer, and public transportation options are available.
