Position Overview

The Maintenance Manager at Fakih Hygiene (Unionvillegate) Corporation plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This position requires a proactive approach to managing maintenance tasks and overseeing a dedicated team.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
Work Environment

This role is situated within a health care institution, facility, or clinic, where the importance of maintaining equipment and systems is paramount.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and estimate costs associated with the installation and upkeep of equipment and services.
  • Design and execute schedules and protocols for safety inspections and preventive maintenance initiatives.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff to ensure high performance and safety standards.
  • Manage the operational budget for the facility effectively.
  • Coordinate and direct administrative services, including signage, cleaning, maintenance, security, and snow removal.
  • Maintain and organize inventory for efficient operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position involves supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in internet usage is required for this role.

Safety and Security

A criminal record check is mandatory for this position.
