About the Role:

The Institute of Corporate Directors is seeking a highly skilled Director, Communications & Content to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive content strategy across all channels and platforms. This role will be responsible for creating and curating engaging content that showcases the Institute's expertise and thought leadership in the field of corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with the Institute's business objectives and goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create high-quality content that resonates with the Institute's target audience.
  • Manage and maintain the Institute's brand voice and tone across all content channels.
  • Lead the development of content calendars and ensure timely publication of content across all platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using key metrics and adjust the content strategy accordingly.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to support content creation and distribution.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members to ensure the successful execution of content projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in communications and content strategy development.
  • Graduate degree in communications or public relations.
  • Strong track record of success in leveraging content for competitive advantage.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
