About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Corporate team at Rogers Communications. As a key member of our Strategy and Performance Management team, you will play a critical role in helping us drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial and operational metrics reports for senior leadership and executive teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and consolidate complex data for key performance metric analysis and benchmarking against industry competitors.
  • Lead industry research on market and subscriber trends to inform business decisions.
  • Support business partners in short- and long-term planning by identifying, prioritizing, and communicating business risks and opportunities through strong financial analysis.
  • Provide value-added steering analysis, communicate key trends, observations, and business impacts.
  • Lead post-implementation project reviews and assessments.
  • Provide general assistance with ad-hoc work as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a business analyst or financial reporting role.
  • CA/CFA designation is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to visualize data using graphs and charts.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on quality of work.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics and KPIs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various levels of the organization.
  • Strong team skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • High-level individual contributor with considerable independent judgment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business groups and other finance organizations.
  • Experience with data analytics tools is an asset.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.
