Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from $45,000 to $60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits that include medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a comprehensive pension plan.
Job DescriptionThis is a unique opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. As a Global Logistics Operations Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize operational efficiency;
- Organizing and managing warehouse and work areas to ensure smooth workflow;
- Dispatching personnel according to schedules and work orders, while maintaining accurate records and logs;
- Scheduling assignments and coordinating activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment;
- Tracking shipments and processing information using dispatching equipment;
- Maintaining inventory and ensuring proper functioning of equipment;
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in logistics or a related field;
- A strong educational background, preferably college or CEGEP level;
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Office;
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality when required.
The ideal candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, demonstrating attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. The working hours for this position are 35 hours per week, with occasional overtime required.
