Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Representative to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a safe and welcoming work environment, and contributing to the overall success of our resort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Switchboard Operations: Answer guest services switchboard calls, inform or redirect calls accordingly, and maintain accurate records of guest interactions.
  • Facility Information: Provide guests with information on the facility, events, and promotions, ensuring they have a positive and memorable experience.
  • Encore Rewards: Solicit, identify, and enroll new gaming customers into the Encore Rewards program, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with program requirements.
  • Announcements and Communications: Make clear and concise announcements over the PA system, communicating important information to guests and staff.
  • Guest Support: Conduct guests to other areas as requested, conduct facility tours, and maintain waiting lists for table games and the Poker Room.
  • Issue Resolution: Respond to, resolve, or escalate issues as required, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with all operational departments, building strong working relationships with guests and team members.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements, maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience in customer service; gaming experience an asset
  • Licenses and Certifications: Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License, Serving it Right Certificate
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Commitment to Excellence: A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guests
Work Environment

Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, some elements of danger, some exposure to the elements, some exposure to noise, some exposure to verbal, non-traditional work hours
