Job Summary

The Weekend Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective performance of maintenance activities at Paper Excellence. This position is responsible for motivating and leading a team of technicians to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of technicians to achieve exceptional results in maintenance activities.
  • Initiate activities to promote safe and effective performance, utilizing good management skills to assess crew stability and workload.
  • Recommend the use of contractor personnel to the Superintendent and direct their work when necessary.
  • Take a secondary role in planning and scheduling work for the crew, making recommendations to the planner for job sequencing and details.
  • Identify failures or repetitive breakdowns and develop solutions within expertise, utilizing the crew to develop solutions and feedback requirements to the planner.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are also essential.
