Job Summary

The Weekend Maintenance Supervisor - Operations Leader is a key role within Paper Excellence, responsible for ensuring the safe and effective performance of maintenance activities on the weekend shift. This position plays a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and excellence within the maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the weekend maintenance team to ensure the successful completion of assigned tasks and projects, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve maintenance efficiency, reduce downtime, and increase productivity.
  • Collaborate with the planning team to ensure accurate scheduling and resource allocation for weekend maintenance activities.
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the Superintendent and planning team to improve maintenance processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in maintenance leadership or supervisory roles, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, procedures, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
