We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Coordinator to join our team at Canadian Solar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and ensuring that materials, equipment, and supplies are properly and timely ordered and delivered to support the company's projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate procurement activities, including ordering and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Compile and submit RFP and RFQ packages for vendors, negotiate with vendors, and recommend vendors for selection.
  • Establish and maintain procurement policies and standard operational procedures for purchasing.
  • Manage and coordinate onboarding procedures of suppliers, including execution of non-disclosure agreements and anti-bribery and corruption forms.
  • File, standardize, and normalize RFP and RFQ responses.
  • Maintain procurement database and proposal trackers.
  • Responsible for procurement-related contracts management, including master supply contracts, exhibits, contract amendments, purchase orders, change orders, notices, and SAP purchase order and transfer order issuance.

Requirements:

  • Experience with PR/PO/STO functions in SAP is essential.
  • Experience with Smartsheet is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline from a university or college.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function successfully independently and within a team.
