About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Packaging Supervisor to join our team at Silani Sweet Cheese Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the packaging process and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Train and develop staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a high level of competence and productivity.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions to ensure the right people are in the right roles.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare production and other reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, and implement changes to achieve business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers to ensure efficient use of resources and meet business needs.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support production and packaging operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
