Job Title:
Academic Cardiac Intensive Care Specialist

The Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto is seeking a highly skilled Academic Cardiac Intensive Care Specialist to join our team.



About the Role:

This is a full-time appointment with a clinical and academic focus, offering the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives and to teach and mentor medical students and residents.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and care delivery
  • Teach and mentor medical students and residents in the areas of cardiac intensive care and quality improvement
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental and hospital policies and procedures related to cardiac intensive care and quality improvement


Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in cardiac intensive care, a track record of quality improvement initiatives, and excellent teaching and communication skills.
