About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our Global IT Procurement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for strategic sourcing of software and SaaS contracts, ensuring optimal pricing, timing, and quality for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for software and SaaS contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to negotiate and manage contracts.
  • Conduct market analysis, demand management, and forecasting to inform procurement decisions.
  • Prepare and execute contracts in collaboration with the legal department.
  • Conduct spend analysis to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Support the development of sourcing and supplier strategies.
  • Work closely with the Global IT Procurement team to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • Deliver high-quality procurement results and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Sciences, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3+ years of relevant procurement experience with software and SaaS procurement or proven track record in related roles.
  • Experience leading strategic sourcing projects in an international environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills and experience.
  • Proficiency in contract terminology and expertise in developing alternative clauses.
  • Commercial mindset and target-oriented approach.
  • Strong team player with ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills, confident manner, and absolute integrity.
