The estimated salary for this position is $82,700 - $99,200 per year, depending on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in North Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring specifications, class rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions are implemented at each stage of construction.

The Quality Assurance Specialist develops the Inspection and Test Plan for specific trade areas or systems, performs daily in-process quality control inspections, and documents results. This role also attends formal inspections with owners and regulatory bodies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A post-secondary diploma in a relevant discipline (marine, mechanical, or electrical engineering preferred)
  • 5-8 years of experience in the trade-specific area, including valid Red Seal Trades Certificates as applicable
  • Prior QC/QA experience is desirable, as well as formal quality assurance certifications
  • A strong understanding of quality control and inspection procedures, technical writing skills, and ability to communicate effectively
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve
