Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Contract Professional to join our team at Island Health.

About the Role

This is a key position that plays a critical role in supporting our procurement and contracting functions.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts for goods and services, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective contract management strategies to mitigate risks and optimize value for our organization.
  • Analyzing and interpreting complex contracts, identifying areas of risk and opportunity.
  • Providing guidance and support to stakeholders on contract-related matters.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in a related field such as Business Administration or Health Administration.
  • 5 years of experience in procurement, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Able to understand patterns and trends, translating them into process improvements and policy recommendations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
