Job Summary

The Royal BC Museum is seeking two Curators, History to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with staff across departments to follow best practices and make informed decisions regarding acquisitions, care, and handling of the holdings.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree or Doctorate in History, with four years of museum experience. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered. This role requires proficiency with community-driven project development and research. Knowledge of exhibit development methodology, the ability to interact well with the public, and high proficiency in the use of museum database software for collection management will be an asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, preserve, and make available objects, specimens, and artifacts documenting the human and natural history of the province.
