Job Title: Construction Supervisor - Heritage Masonry

About Us: Heritage Masonry is a leading provider of masonry services, specializing in the preservation and restoration of historic buildings.


About the Role: We are seeking an experienced construction supervisor to lead our heritage masonry projects. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the execution of large-scale masonry projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.


Responsibilities:



  • Oversight of masonry teams, including supervision of workers, project coordination, and scheduling activities
  • Preparation and review of production reports, ensuring accurate tracking of project progress and milestones
  • Co-ordination and scheduling of activities with other work units, including resource allocation and conflict resolution
  • Training and development of staff, including mentoring and coaching
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recommendations for personnel actions, including promotions and disciplinary measures
  • Loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment

Requirements:



  • 5+ years of experience in masonry or a related field, preferably in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated expertise in masonry techniques, materials, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Certifications and training relevant to the industry (e.g., OSHA, WHMIS)
  • Familiarity with financial software and budgeting processes
