We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team at Living Water Resorts. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires standing for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As a Hotel Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for registering arriving guests, assigning rooms, processing group arrivals and departures, taking, canceling, and changing room reservations, providing information on hotel facilities and services, and processing guests' departures, calculating charges, and receiving payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Process group arrivals and departures
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures
  • Clerical duties (faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls
  • Provide customer service
Requirements
  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working in a hotel or motel setting
  • Multi-line switchboard experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Dependability, reliability, and strong team player skills
