The Role

We are seeking an Engagement & Registration Manager to join our team. This full-time role will report to the Supervisor, Engagement & Registration Solutions, and will involve working in a hybrid manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing participant communication, data, and registration processes, as well as providing exceptional customer service to clients and participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the subject matter expert in customer services and registration management, collaborating with project teams and consulting with clients on best practices and solutions.
  • Communicate important participant data/information/counts to project team and client during video/in-person meetings.
  • Manage participant communication over phone and email, including inbox and intake form management, producing and distributing 'Know before you go' confirmations and travel packages, and supplier liaison with hotels for room blocks and extensions.
  • Review and test websites, including registration development, cross-checking and quality control to verify all reports, and onsite support when applicable for data management in real time, rooming/hotel contact/APP push notifications.
  • Identify opportunities for upsell and work with the sales and events team on App solutions.
Requirements
  • A holder of post-secondary education in business, event management, or a related field.
  • Experienced in customer service or administrative roles, ideally within the travel, hotel, or event sectors.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in both written and verbal French considered a strong asset.
  • Technically savvy with experience in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Cvent.
  • A master of detail with a knack for juggling multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Ready and willing to travel for that hands-on event management experience.
