Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist

Our team at Huawei Technologies Canada Co., Ltd. has an immediate 12-month contract opening for a Recruiter to lead our talent acquisition efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Talent Sourcing and Management: End-to-end management of the recruitment process, attracting and interviewing top candidates, and implementing sourcing strategies to target niche technical roles.
- Candidate Engagement and Relationship Building: Conducting talent mapping, identifying and targeting top technical talent, negotiating compensation packages, and creating proposals while leading the negotiation and offer process.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Working closely with hiring managers in a consultative manner to ensure the best hiring decisions are made in a timely manner.
- Event Participation and Community Outreach: Participating in career fairs, networking events, and other projects or recruitment initiatives to expand our talent pool.
- Co-op Recruitment Cycles: Meeting tight deadlines for high-volume interviewing and selection during triannual co-op recruitment cycles.
Requirements:
- Technical recruiting experience with a focus on quality results under minimal supervision.
- A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to create relationships with hard-to-find candidates.
- Detail-oriented with proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to support multiple hiring managers and manage multiple vacancies.
- Ability to think innovatively and outside-the-box for talent attraction strategies and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
What We Offer:
- An estimated $85,000 - $110,000 per year salary range based on location and experience.
