Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Southern Operations team as an Executive Assistant to the Regional Executive Director. This permanent, full-time position requires excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills to support the executive director in managing various tasks and projects related to program matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine and screen internal and external materials directed to the Executive Director, ensuring proper responses are provided.
  • Coordinate various tasks and projects on behalf of the executive director, including working with other executives and managers to identify and resolve issues.
  • Prepare and review correspondence prepared in the ministry that will be distributed under the signature of the Executive Director.
  • Provide executive level support regarding OH&S legislation, regulations, and ministerial policies.
  • Assist with the preparation of material related to branch programs and performance.
Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must be eligible to register for membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and have several years of equivalent experience. General knowledge of highway design, construction, maintenance, traffic engineering, operation, contract administration, and contract law is also required.
