We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Skky Hotel Inc. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Front Desk Operations: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, and follow emergency and safety procedures.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, photocopying, and answering telephone calls and messages.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, assist clients/guests with special needs, and contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in multi-line switchboard, word processing software, and central reservation system (CRS).
- Security and Safety: Bondable.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, client focus, dependability, efficiency, flexibility, and teamwork.
This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
