About the RoleWe are seeking a Technical Product Manager to join our Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) Quality & Security team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, supportability, and reliability of Lenovo's data center products through technical assessments and evaluations.
- The selected candidate will lead technical assessment activities, working closely with various development areas, and prioritize virtual assessment teams to evaluate customer requirements and provide recommendations.
- They will analyze and interpret technical experts' feedback, including test data, to determine if a CORE request is ready for progression or not.
- The Technical Product Manager will follow up on risk assessments for CORE requests to meet urgent customer/marketing requirements.
- Collaboration with development, engineering, services, and production teams is essential to ensure quality, buildability, and serviceability under a CORE request.
- This role requires identifying technical issues, providing alternative paths to succeed customer requirements, and monitoring the effectiveness of CORE/FastPath processes for improvement.
- The selected candidate will also lead and mentor a virtual team of technical assessors to improve assessment outcomes' accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Intel x86 or AMD server architecture and product development.
- Familiarity with project management and reporting tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for tasks like engineering task management, partner engagements, and executive updates.
- Experience with GPU, Servers, CPU, or Memory development.
Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications. Lenovo offers a comprehensive compensation package and benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
