Job Description

Lenovo, a global technology powerhouse, seeks a skilled Senior AI Cybersecurity Engineer to join its diverse and cross-functional cyber security team.

The selected candidate will play a proactive role in Lenovo's responsible AI processes, ensuring the protection of customers and the company from various security challenges of modern generative AI.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical competence and significant cyber security experience. Working level experience with generative artificial intelligence solutions is necessary.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist Lenovo with the cyber security aspects of its responsible AI objectives.
  2. Assist in the design, implementation, and deployment of technical controls to protect Lenovo.
  3. Lead and conduct project technical security assessments and provide guidance.
  4. Create and maintain technical security standards.
  5. Domestic and international travel may be required (5%) for technical meetings, workshops, and on-site collaboration activities.
  6. Bring a passion to learn and stay on top of cyber security threats and trends.

Basic Qualifications

  1. BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or related software engineering field, or equivalent experience.
  2. 12+ years of technical experience in at least one of the following:
  • Web application development, deployment, and support
  • Network design, deployment, and administration
  • System administration (Linux or Windows)
  • Security engineering
5+ years cyber security and/or information security principles related experienceHands-on experience with a wide range of security tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Current Certification in relevant field of Information Security and/or Cyber Security (e.g. Security)
  2. Reasonable working knowledge of AI, cyber security, and solution design as it pertains to Artificial Intelligence.
  3. General knowledge of cyber security controls frameworks (e.g. ISO27001, NIST)
  4. Technical experience in modern Generative AI solutions and platforms
  5. Technical experience leading global security initiatives
  6. Cyber Security operations and incident response
  7. Vulnerability management
