Overview

Hexagon Autonomy and Positioning is seeking a skilled Technical Training Specialist to create and maintain complex technical training materials for internal and external customers. This role will oversee the Customer Support training program, ensuring high-quality delivery of training materials. The Technical Training Specialist will collaborate closely with the Customer Support team, including Technology and Market Leads, Customers, Sales, Product Management, Project Management, and Marketing, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive training material delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain virtual learning content and programs
  • Coordinate customer training, education, and onboarding requests
  • Identify training and development needs within the Customer Support Group through regular consultation with Managers and Technical Leads
  • Deliver "train the trainer" style courses, encouraging best practices to regional teams delivering training to customers
  • Research and implement new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning
  • Promote a work culture of continuing professional development (CPD)

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 3 years related experience in training
  • Familiar with adult learning principles and techniques
  • Experience developing self-service training material
