Job Summary:

Condominium Insurance Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a knowledgeable expert advisor in commercial insurance lines of business, you will be responsible for managing a book of business, servicing clients in a courteous and professional manner, and assisting the producer in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a Renewal Book of Business: Responsible for managing a renewal book of business, working closely with producers and other Condominium Insurance staff on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewal while adhering to Condominium Insurance best practices and standard procedures.
  • Account Planning: Initiate account planning with producers 100 days in advance of the renewal.
  • Retention Rate: Maintain a retention rate of 95% or higher on your book of business.
  • Client Service: Set clear expectations for clients and business partners by providing same-day response time.
  • New Business Development: Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads, and contribute to meeting departmental production goals. Identify and follow-up on cross-selling opportunities when appropriate.
  • Proposal Preparation: Responsible for the preparation of proposals for prospect and stewardship reviews for existing clients.
  • Account Documentation: Manage account documentation, including routine inquiries, quotes, binders, statement of values, insurance contracts, endorsements, cancellations, etc.
  • Risk Analysis: Review client's current coverage and exposures, loss experience, and analyze risk to determine the product/service requirements.
  • EPIC Workflow: Maintain up-to-date EPIC workflow documentation and ensure workflows are followed.
  • Account Servicing: Ensure accurate and timely servicing and billing of accounts.
  • Cross-Sell Campaigns: Participate actively in cross-sell campaigns and other initiatives as required.
  • Professional Development: Actively develop an increased knowledge of related insurance products and client needs.
  • Client Meetings: May participate in or conduct client meetings when necessary.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training and professional development courses to enhance skills and industry knowledge.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain positive working relationships with clients, staff, other Condominium Insurance departments, and offices.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Insurance Experience: Minimum 5 years of commercial insurance experience required.
  • R.I.O. License: R.I.O. license required.
  • C.B. Designation: C.B. designation(s) preferred.
  • Policy Wordings/Coverages: Solid understanding of policy wordings/coverages.
  • Mentorship and Negotiation: Ability to mentor others and proven negotiation skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Ability to be a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skills.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and EPIC.
