Job Overview

Ecolab's Institutional division is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and providing exceptional customer service to our hospitality clients in Whistler, Pemberton, Squamish, and surrounding areas.

About the Role

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
  • Provide expert advice and training to customers on our products and services, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to maximize their use
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sales plans, promotions, and marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
  • 1+ year of outside sales experience, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to travel to the US for training and meetings
  • Proof of Covid vaccination may be required based on client site requirements

Physical Demands

  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, regularly
  • Manipulating heavy items, equipment, and appliances at least 50% of the time
  • Bending, stretching, twisting, climbing, and working on ladders at least 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous business-to-business commercial sales experience
  • Industry-related experience in food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, and/or pool and spa
  • Mechanical problem-solving experience, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and/or mechanical experience
