Job Title: HR Business Partner

Modern Niagara is seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our dynamic team in Vaughan. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business by providing expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business leaders to understand business needs and develop HR solutions
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Support organizational changes and business operations related to HR
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders on HR-related matters
  • Support compensation planning and salary administration programs
  • Deliver support for onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and other staff movements
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices, legislative changes, and industry standards
Requirements:
  • Believe in and live the Modern Niagara Core Values: Teamwork, Initiative, Dedication, Professionalism, Passion
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience
  • Strong working knowledge of current provincial employment laws, standards, and regulations
  • Experience with conflict resolution and negotiations
  • Experience with recruiting and retention of high-performing employees
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with driving positive cultural change in both processes and systems
  • Experience in a unionized environment an asset
  • Experience implementing and managing a cloud-based HRIS or UltiPro strongly desirable
