Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee regional projects and programs, ensuring a safe work environment, effective planning, implementation, and tracking. The ideal candidate will also supervise, mentor, and develop employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Health, Safety, and Environment program to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee regional projects to ensure timely delivery, within budget, and to the desired quality level.
  • Conduct bi-weekly reviews and enforcement of employee billable hours percentage.
  • Participate in the recruiting process and employee retention initiatives in consultation with Human Resources and Resource Manager.
  • Identify and participate in business improvement opportunities and initiatives at the regional and company level.
  • Review work plans, resources, and project schedules to ensure successful completion.
  • Manage client relationships and retention.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, completing quotes and proposals, and communicating with the Business Development VP.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of a B.Sc. in a relevant field, with five years of experience, and relevant certifications or designations. Strong knowledge of field techniques, regulatory standards, and excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills are essential.

You will also need to be physically fit, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and have excellent writing and communication skills. Proficiency in the operation of field equipment is an asset. A valid Driver's License is required.
