About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Accounts Manager to join our team at Flanagan Foodservice Inc. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our key accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Sales Growth: Identify opportunities for sales growth and develop effective strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication, issue resolution, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Account Managers and Administrators to achieve team and individual goals.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate long-term contracts with key accounts to preserve revenue and profitability.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales and receivables data to identify issues and areas for improvement, providing insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, and customer service, with 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
