About This Role

Fraser Health is committed to supporting the health and well-being of its patients, families, and communities. As a Clinical Nurse in our Mental Health and Substance Use department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive treatment services to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. This includes assessing client needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment and treatment services to clients with mental health and substance use disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address client goals and needs
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure coordinated care and support
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health and substance use topics
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, care plans, and progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Nursing from an approved program
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • At least two years of recent experience working in mental health and/or substance use services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $83,671 - $121,426 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, you will also receive comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental insurance, pension plan, and paid time off.
