Job Title: Market Lead, Private Investment Counsel

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Market Lead, Private Investment Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our Private Investment Counsel team, you will be responsible for leading a team of investment professionals in Eastern Canada, overseeing business development, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve revenue goals and drive growth in the market.
  • Lead a team of investment professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business development and revenue growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic data, and investment strategies to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with other business lines and corporate functions to identify opportunities for cross-selling and business growth.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Required: CSC & CIM or CFA Level 1.
  • Asset: CFA.
  • Eligible for registration under the provincial regulator as an Advising Representative.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience in discretionary investment management, covering financial analysis and portfolio management.
