Scotiabank is seeking a seasoned Market Lead to oversee and lead a team of investment professionals in Eastern Canada. As a key member of our Private Investment Counsel team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, coaching and mentoring team members, and developing client acquisition strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute business plans to achieve defined revenue goals
- Coach and mentor team members to identify prospects, manage, retain, and deepen high net worth/ultra-high net worth client relationships
- Develop client acquisition strategies and maintain a prospect sales pipeline to generate sustainable and profitable growth
- Collaborate with other Advisory and Client Solutions colleagues to deepen and broaden Scotiabank client relationships
- Ensure compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures
- University degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance
- Required: CSC & CIM or CFA Level 1
- Asset: CFA
- Eligibility for registration under the provincial regulator as an Advising Representative
- Minimum 5 years direct experience in discretionary investment management
