Market Lead, Private Investment Counsel

Scotiabank is seeking a seasoned Market Lead to oversee and lead a team of investment professionals in Eastern Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, coaching and mentoring team members, and developing client acquisition strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve defined revenue goals
  • Coach and mentor team members to identify prospects, manage, retain, and deepen high net worth/ultra-high net worth client relationships
  • Develop client acquisition strategies and maintain a prospect sales pipeline to generate sustainable and profitable growth
  • Collaborate with other Advisory and Client Solutions colleagues to deepen and broaden Scotiabank client relationships
  • Ensure compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance
  • Required: CSC & CIM or CFA Level 1
  • Asset: CFA
  • Eligible for registration under the provincial regulator as an Advising Representative
  • Minimum 5 years direct experience in discretionary investment management
