We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as soon as possible in the Sunderland-area.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of excellent nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
- To utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of exceptional nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
- To ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientations to the home and its services.
- To facilitate safe resident transfers and discharges.
- To maintain accurate records and adhere to protocols regarding drugs and narcotics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Able to work effectively with colleagues and residents in a compassionate and supportive manner.
- Familiarity with Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant legislation.
- Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
Estimated Salary Range: £25-£35 per hour
